Corporate Structure

​The restructuring of Corporate Shareholding has made Jackson Empreendimentos Ltda the sole controlling company of both Engevix Engenharia S/A and Desenvix S/A and now owns all of these companies’ shares. By late 2009 Cevix Energias Renováveis S/A was established in partnership with Desenvix and FUNCEF (Caixa Econômica Bank employees pension fund). The new company took on all operational assets and will be responsible for the construction of new power plants and enterprises. In 2010 Ecovix Construções Oceânicas S/A was established to supply services for construction offshore equipment.
 
Engevix also owns 22% of ViaBahia, a highway concession alongside Encalso (23%) and Isolux (55%) and has already been accountable for operating 640 km of federal highways in Bahia.
 
Engevix and Desenvix operate independently.
 
Engevix offers consultative engineering services and EPC contracts in the energy, infrastructures and capital goods sectors. Desenvix focuses on the group’s power generating assets developing projects and investing in renewable energy.
 
 

Organizational Structure

​Engevix recently underwent a corporate restructuring and the establishment of six vice-presidencies, five of which are accountable for business units and the managing, financial and investor’s relation’s vice-presidencies. An HR board was also created and is now responsible for the elaboration of the company’s intellectual capital policies.
 
The Managing Council with four independent members and the executive board
joined forces aiming to define the focus of activities for the coming years and to seek new potentials for greater efficiency in order to guarantee value creation. Decision-making is now in the purview of a forum composed of people with experience in diverse fields and with great accuracy in entrepreneurial vision. Every loan, guarantee and new businesses are assessed and approved by the Managing Council responsible for electing the board according to technical and professional qualifications who have no family ties with shareholders.
